Second, cast aluminum alloys can be divided into aluminum-silicon alloys, aluminum-copper alloys, aluminum-magnesium alloys, aluminum-zinc alloys and aluminum-rare earth alloys according to their chemical composition. 2.Different properties of pure aluminum and aluminum alloy

Second, aluminum alloys usually use alloying elements such as copper, zinc, manganese, silicon, and magnesium. They were invented by German Alfred Wilm in the early 20th century, which greatly helped the development of aircraft. After the First World War, the composition of German aluminum alloys was listed as a state secret. Compared with ordinary carbon steel, it has a lighter weight and corrosion resistance, but the corrosion resistance is not as good as pure aluminum. In a clean, dry environment, a protective oxide layer will form on the surface of the aluminum alloy.
Second, silver-white light metal. There is malleability. Commodities are often made into rods, sheets, foils, powders, ribbons and filaments. It can form an oxide film to prevent metal corrosion in the humid air. Aluminum powder and aluminum foil can burn violently when heated in the air and emit a dazzling white flame. It is easily soluble in dilute sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide solution, but hardly soluble in water. The relative density is 2.70. The melting point is 660°C. The boiling point is 2327°C.
Fourth, aluminum has poor toughness, is softer, and is easily deformed. Although aluminum alloy has a similar density, it is tough and not easily deformed and can be used as a flying material.
